gli Academy Awards hanno la stessa utilità di un leccalecca alla merda.

eeeeeevabbè! si fa per dovere di cronaca e per alimentare la discussione… ad esempio non mi aspettavo un oscar per il sonoro a iwo jima di clint… dovrò andare al cinema a beccarmelo al più presto!

e poi non puoi negare che è stato emozionante l’oscar consegnato ad ennio dalle mani di clint!

Sono contento per Forest Whitaker, il pover’uomo meritava un Oscar solo per aver sopportato l’umiliazione di comparire in “Battlefield Earth”…

Beh se non lo avesse vinto un film di guerra miglior sonoro…

la cosa che ho sempre odiate degli Academy Awards è il fatto che vengano dati solo a films americani (a parte quello per miglior film straniero…). e odio anche l’importanza che gli viene dato. però, in tutta franchezza, quando han dato l’Oscar a Mediterraneo ho goduto come una scimmia…

l‘importanza è sempre relativa… fanno parlare come fa parlare san remo poi però alla fine si sgonfia tutto e se un film è una chiavica come tale verrà ricordato, sia che abbia la statuetta oppure no.
al contrario di sanremo che “mi piace” soprattutto per il suo lato trash e per le canzoni orribili, la notte degli oscar ha mantenuto un aspetto glamour che mi ha sempre affascinato sin da piccolo. l’oscar rimane nel mio immaginario come il trofeo numero 1 per eccellenza. anche se pure io sono il primo ad ammettere che conta quanto il leccalecca di cui parlavi.
è ovvio che vanno agli americani… è ovvio che ci sono interessi, che chi spende milioni di dollari vuole anche la statuetta da poter stampare sulla confezione dei cofanetti special edition… ma chissenefrega. se children of men non ha vinto nulla rimane pur sempre un film bello che sono contento di aver visto al cinema. anni fa vinse miglior film… shakespeare in love! è una grossa presa per il culo. però la serata è bella, c’è il mondo del cinema, c’è lo spettacolo, ci sono i premi alla carriera, glorie del passato, c’è Hollywood Boulevard, il tappeto rosso…, mi piace. Per la cronaca, Benigni vinse nelle categorie “grosse” e quest’annol’oscar ai costumi l’ha vinto un’italiana e se vogliamo essere puntigliosi Scorsese è un paisà.

p.s.: sono contento per Scorsese. lo avrebbe dovuto vincere altre volte l’oscar, più volte e con altri film, ma a me the Departed è piaciuto. è un buon film, quindi son contento.

Aver dato l’oscar a THE DEPARTED ed aver già ignorato un titolo ben più interessante come THE PRESTIGE dalla cinquina degli Oscar, la dice lunga della quasi inutilità della manifestazione. Contento solo per Morricone.
