It may be interesting to note that I have documentation suggesting those additional scenes found in the West German release were in fact re-shoots, scenes filmed and inserted specifically for the release, and there appears to have been a script and re-ordering of sequences also.

Yes, exactly that, the American distribution arm and the name Ken Dewey you mentioned previously. Iām not entirely sure why it appears to have been released in Germany (prior to America) with that being the caseā¦ but alas, thatās how the timespan at least appears to have played out.
