Allora. Pare che Volonte’ girò il primo film per motivi assolutamente economici. Quindi, di doppiarsi, non gliene fregava nulla. Per il secondo, forse lasciò l’incombenza a Gazzolo per “continuità” rispetto all’opera precedente. O più semplicemente, c’erano già accordi con la compagnia di doppiaggio. Volonte’, ad ogni modo, si doppio’ senza problemi in “Faccia a faccia” e “Quien sabe?”…
Uscito il br 4k, a cura della Eagle. Chissà qual è il master di partenza. Questa settimana dovrebbe arrivarmi il disco. Mi sa tanto che, comunque vada, la vecchia edizione Ripley è da custodire. Con cura e rispetto…

Allora. Una doverosa premessa. Come già dicevo, l’edizione Ripley, per chi ce l’ha, va comunque tenuta e custodita con cura. Precisato questo , il nuovo master di br e soprattutto br 4k,della Eagle, è nettamente superiore. Il migliore, a tutt’oggi, fra quelli dei film di Leone. Resa cinematografica, con “densità”, colorimetria e luminosità, davvero clamorosi. Il tutto, proviene da un restauro risalente al 2014. Quindi, è diverso da quello proposto dall’americana Kino, lo scorso anno (privo, va sottolineato, dell’audio italiano). E da quel che ho visto sui siti specializzati, quest’ultimo mi pare lievemente inferiore. Concludendo. Per chi non ha il film di Leone, un’edizione assolutamente imperdibile. Per chi ha già l’edizione Ripley, un disco comunque da prendere. Per la qualità tecnica, e per gli ulteriori extra (provenienti da br MGM e Kino) presenti.

Per errore mio ho messo i dati della versione 1080p.
