WAR Movies

Hi, I’m new to this board. Merry Christmas to all of you! Well, I’m running a webside bout movie locations in spain. Only have a very few contacts in italy which is a shame. My main problem is that I don’t speak any italian. Great that I found this forum with an international part…and hope to get in touch with italian location aficionados.
Lots of my favorite movies are italian…and many of them filmed in spain!
I just have a new Location report online bout italian war movies filmed in spain (La Battaglia d’Inghilterra / Contro 4 Bandiere):

Hi Straniero,
i’m writing a book about italian war movies.
Stay tuned.

Great, I haven’t seen many yet, but here are some of my favorite:

  • Uomini contro
  • Tutti a casa
  • El Alamein

Just to put three different periods of Italian Cinema, which ones are your favorites?

Best,

Straniero

A book bout all the italian war bombs - GREAT!
If you need any material let me know.
Do you know the great documentary bout the spanish f/x wizard Emilio Ruiz del Rio. In it is an interesting conversation with Emilio and Enzo G.Castellari bout the War movies both made together.
You can see the docu here:
