Impossible reach the page from Europe.

@bastardnasum can you post a screenshot?

Can’t open the full pages as - as usual - I need to be registered.

Anyway, apart the title, cast and release year there isn’t any other information

I’ll make a research with the b/w poster as well

here’s there’s another link where they talk about it - but I don’t know if you can open it:

https://baijiahao.baidu.com/s?id=1804730794078577836&wfr=spider&for=pc

Yeah, it’s possible to open it, thanks.

the problem is that even if there’s the b/w poster, I can’t find any reference about it in the article …

anyway, the title in cantonese is 金古奇視 (金古奇视 in simplified chinese)

Maybe this channel may have some info, this one here looks like a twin movie also released in 1982 and also narrated by Lu Guoxiong / Lo Kwok, or maybe it’s the same movie under a different title :

A clip of this movie, maybe it will help us in our search for this film

@JeffeIam considering its age, it doesn’t even seem a mondo but some sort of documentary in national geographic style. 今古奇觀 means this wonderful world, but such a title related to 1982 seems to be absent from imdb. on yt comment somebody states it’s a classical. you could try ask him about its international title or more news.

nel video, comunque il cartello di testa recita “絶版今古奇觀” (Out-of-print wonders of the past and present)

…and here we are. that’s him:

I can’t understand if we’re all talking about the same documentary or 4-5 different titles all together

金古奇視
今古奇觀
絶版今古奇觀
今古奇欢 今古奇觀
Wonders of China (中國奇觀)

?

according to the plot, the year and what we see in the segment, the imdb link should be right.

yeah, but it seems it has nothing to do with the other title at the opening of the topic, which is 100% Hongkongese, featuring the narration by Luo Guoxing/Lo Kwok. So, in the end we started with this:

金古奇视 (the one in the first two posters, also known with the title in traditional chinese “金古奇視”) which looks as a back-to-back or a twin movie with “人獸奇觀” also released in 1982 and also featuring the narrating voice of Luo Guoxing/Lo Kwok. No idea if they are two separate movies or the same one re-edited with a new title.

then switched to this:

今古奇觀 (the YT video 1982 with the Great Wall), which, in the frame bears another title: “絶版今古奇觀” and also this one looks apparently 100% Chinese produced by Sam Nam Co.

And finally the IMDB link titled “Wonders of China - 中國奇觀” which apparently redirects to an American production by… Walt Disney Imagineering/WDI (!!!)

I think we’re mixing different movies in the same topic

you’re right. I’ve missed the point because I didn’t read all the older posts from the very beginning till the last new one from yesterday! jeffe used the same topic to ask for two different items.

You’re right, we did mix up some movies.
I thought I could make some additions for you.

From the image, it can be observed that the title of the theme at the beginning of the theme “今古奇觀” is the same movie as YT video “絶版今古奇觀”. This film was produced by Nam Sam Film Co. and narrated by Lu Guoxiong.
