la versione di cine34 di questo film non è semplicemente sforbiciata, è proprio ignominiosamente decespugliata di ben 25’. tra le scene mancanti, anche sequenze del tutto innocue e tutt’altro che efferate.
siamo nell’era in cui un dodicenne ha un serbian film human centipede 2 o youporn e bestgore a tiro di click, e ci si accanisce ancora a massacrare inoffensivi mondos di 60 anni fa trasmessi in seconda o terza fascia?! io davvero straboh.

I recently had a copy of this movie, but unfortunately I have now lost it.
Is anyone able to point me in the right direction at all?
Two version are available (for both I tabù and I tabù n°2):
- a cut HDwebrip from Mediasetplay (same master reported by schramm)
- an uncut telecine

Very good to hear. I would very much like to compare and contrast them both. I believe I have both of I Tabu on discs somewhere, possibly both versions of I Tabu n.2 also actually but I would prefer them readily to hand in a drive for comparison purposes between both versions so that I could write at length about their differences and similarities, cuts, additional footage, run times etc
If I remember correctly my TV version was titled as I Tabu No.2 - I Miti Del Mondo and ran for around 74-75 mins?
I then had a version without the “I Miti Del Mondo” title card addition that ran much closer to 1.38.42 if I remember rightly. Would that sound correct?

the tv version of tabù 2 is ultracut (25’ missing). I have to check in my external HD but the telecine should be 100’ circa. I’ll let you know tomorrow.

The reason for my interest is related to another mondo movie that, I believe, may have appropriated footage from this movie!
Needless to say, a rewatch is required in order to fully establish what may (or may not) have been. The hunt is on!

several mondos, especially the latest ones of massi/crisanti, recycled many scenes from both marcellini’s exploits. the most popular one is the yubitsume sketch /which is obviously hyperfake) featured on taboos 1

@Baron_Mynd today I’ve checked both marcellini’s telecines:
the first taboo’s telecine lasts 93’30"
taboo 2 has a rt of 98’40’’ circa

I wondered if perhaps Sadismo utilises the seaweed scene from I Tabu n.2.
I have ordered a new laptop, which should hopefully be with me later this week, so I will soon be able to watch both and compare and contrast to confirm for us.

I’m not entirely sure I understand the request, do you mean a short video of it playing rather than just a screenshot image?
I was almost certain it would appear in I Tabu (or I Tabu n.2) as the scene with the white mouse being dangled above the oriental females mouth was used, but alas, it doesn’t appear to be the case - which is immensely frustrating!
The lizard does, however, appear in Its A Woman’s World and Sadismo. For now that remains the link, though I am curious as to whether the scene involving the white mouse also appears anywhere else in a Japanese movie prior to Romolo Marcellini’s movies.
